Opening Statement!!

I've never blogged before - this is a whole new experience for me. However, I've written loads of diaries over the years, so I can't imagine its much different that that!

Anyone who knows me well, knows I hanker after the thought of writing a book - now I know there are hundreds if not thousands of people who have the same lurking desire, and like me never get around to it or think they wouldn't be able to do it - where would I start? So I gave up on that idea, which is a shame really, as lots of my friends tell me that if I wrote about the happenings in my life, it would be a best seller!!

So .... with that at the forefront of my mind, i've decided to blog instead. That way, if its brutal, then no one needs to know. I haven't decided yet whether I will tell anyone about this or not - i'll see how it pans out first then decide if my thoughts are worth sharing with the world in general!
